Service 04
A team member who actually works with the French.
We train someone you already have to work in francophone markets, help you find the right French speaker, or join your hiring process. You pick which path you need.
01Who this is for
Three situations, one of which you’ll recognise.
Building a team for the French market rarely starts from scratch. Usually there’s already a person who needs preparing, or a search you’re stuck on.
01
You have someone, but they lack the experience
Your team already includes a French speaker, or a general salesperson, but they haven’t worked with French markets yet. They don’t know how negotiations unfold, what answers really mean, or where the risks sit.
02
You don’t have a French speaker
You know you need someone who speaks French, but you don’t know where to look or what qualifications matter. You try searching yourself, get CVs you can’t really evaluate.
03
You’re hiring someone new
Recruitment is already running, but it’s hard to tell whether a candidate’s French is strong enough, whether they fit a sales role, or whether they’ll hold up in a real conversation with a client in France.
02Three paths
You pick what you actually need.
We don’t offer one service for everyone. Depending on where you are, we work differently.
A
We train your person
We take the person you already have and prepare them to work with francophone markets.
- How the sales process works in France, Belgium, and Switzerland
- Cultural differences and negotiation style
- How to recognise when “yes” really means “no”
- What not to do in the first emails and calls
- Format: online or at your office, one-off or recurring
B
We help you find them
We advise on the kind of person you need and recommend from our network.
- We map the competencies your specific case actually requires
- We share referrals from a network of 200+ contacts
- We tell you where to look and what to ask in interviews
- We help you draft the requirements in French
C
We join the hiring
We step into your recruitment process and assess the candidates with you.
- We act as intermediary across CV databases and recruitment agencies
- We sit in on candidate interviews
- We test the candidate’s real French level – not on paper, in conversation
- We evaluate business vocabulary and fit for the specific role
03How we work
Four steps from the first call to a team that’s ready.
Step 01
Free 30-min call
We figure out where you are and which of the three paths fits. We tell you honestly whether we can help.
Step 02
Strategy session – 150 EUR
We deliver a concrete plan: what to train, where to look, or how to run the hiring. We decide together whether to keep working.
Step 03
Training or search
After the contract and NDA we start in the agreed format: sessions, referrals, or sitting in on interviews.
Step 04
A team member who’s ready
Someone who knows what to say to the French, how to handle them, and where the traps sit. From there you keep going on your own or come back for other services.
04Why this pays off
A full-time hire isn’t the only – or the cheapest – option.
When you actually do the maths, most companies are better off training someone they already have, or having us join the hiring process, than recruiting a French speaker into a full-time seat from scratch.
The same result, with different cost and risk.

2000+ EUR/mo
plus taxes, recruitment costs, the risk of a wrong hire
- Recruiting without French verification – CVs you can’t really evaluate

Work with French Bridge

05Questions
Questions about this service.
Didn’t find your answer? Ask it during the first free call – that’s where we cover whatever is specific to your situation.
How long does it take to train an existing employee?
It depends on the person’s readiness and the complexity of your product. Most often we work in 2-4 sessions of 2-3 hours, plus periodic check-ins during their first real client contacts. We agree the exact format during the strategy session.
Can you run the training at our office?
Yes. Both formats are possible – online or an on-site visit in Lithuania. The choice usually depends on how many people will attend and whether you want hands-on exercises in a room together.
How do you actually test a candidate’s French?
We run part of the interview in French – with questions that reveal not only language level but the ability to hold a business conversation, negotiate, and explain a product. A “B2-C1” on a CV often doesn’t match reality, and in a real conversation that becomes clear inside 15 minutes.
We already work with a recruitment agency – what can you do that they can’t?
An agency will find candidates with French on their CV. What they probably can’t do is judge whether that person can really speak with your clients in France, or whether they’re a good fit for sales in francophone markets specifically. We come in exactly at that point in your hiring process.
Do you work through recruitment agencies or directly?
Both. If you already have an agency – we work alongside them, assessing candidates. If you don’t – we recommend channels (CV databases, agencies, our network) and help you prepare the requirements.
What does it cost: training, search, joining hiring?
We start with a free 30-min call. Then a 150 EUR strategy session, where we lay out the plan and give a specific estimate. The total depends on scope: a one-off session, recurring training, or joining several rounds of interviews are different investments.
Do we sign an NDA before starting?
Yes. Before starting any project, we sign an NDA alongside the contract. All information – about your clients, products, prices, strategy – stays between us.
Do you stay available for consultations after the training?
Yes. Many clients move to hourly consultations after the training – quick sanity checks before an important call or email. It’s often a natural continuation.
